What a nerve! This morning received through the post a letter with VOTE LABOUR "a future fair for all", That IS a problem in itself,but it was the fact that the letter had the TNT post Logo where it once was Royal Mail.It also said THE TORIES are they a change you can afford.WELL as a cwu member for many years and contributing to the labour party for which i have chosen now to opt out of on my subs, the lack of support from our union leaders and the labour government all trying to shaft us just beggars belief at the cheek of on one hand saying to support them when they are giving business to TNT. And as for saying " a change you can afford".Well boys i can no longer afford to subsidise you lot as under the new proposal i shall be taking home less pay for doing more work. GET REAL!

I know we normally go to work ,to earn money,BUT! How about boycotting all D2D political gumf ,to make a political statement,to our "Masters",under european law your rights to hold and practise your political views are supposed to be protected????

why the big suprise?
how long have tnt etc been downstreaming? many (maybe all) government bodies inc the NHS ,TV licence now use the cheaper option.
perhaps ask why royal mail can't compete in this market .
the universal service obligation is a great thing - but why can our competitors exploit this advantage?

Not just election bumph, N.H.S, Council Tax etc been going on ages really very sad but they jumped in long before anyone in Europe did in regards to competition,
and took a pension holiday for 12 years so not really a surprise, that they are aiding our downfall leading to eventual sell off.

in a WTL last week we were told that TNT have got a bigger share of the D2D market than RM funny enough 2 of my 3 D2D's this week are contracts for TNT !!!

Is this a new scam from political parties to avoid paying money for Posties to deliver election stuff.

Downstream access is one of worse thing happens in this country. I believe it produce too much junk mail by making it cheaper.
