Tramp found living in basement!

Could'nt believe the rumour going round our office(I take everything I hear with a large pinch of salt) that a tramp was found living in one of the rooms in the basement.Then I spoke to the late turn driver who actually caught the guy,he said he'd seen him around a few times wearing an old scruffy royal mail coat, but just thought he was one of many we've got who dont wash,etc.but something made him follow the guy as he went into the basement and then into one of the rooms that he'd obviously made his home
Now we've got hardly any night staff its so easy for anyone to just stroll in un-noticed,it aint exactly fort knox.

They are mate,we've got about 5 who absolutely reek,they're waterproof coats look about 10 years old,the same egg stains on their trousers from weeks previous,you just know when they go home their gaffs could be contenders for channel 4's 'How Clean Is Your House'.

we had a guy that worked for us and was of the no fixed abode type, and when he had a drink he used to come in and wait for the nightshift to arrive and then sleep in the common room on a pool table, and we had to go in and give him an alarm call the next morning

Funny we had a guy like that 15 years back. His wife used to lock him out if he stayed at the pub after hours on a lock in night. He used to stagger in during the night shift and sleep under his frame on his bags. When we showed up at 5am he used to awake and simply get on with the job. Strange really as we got used to it.

All went wrong in the end Wife left, lost job and ended up falling down some stairs pi55ed and broke his neck

He was evicted and they now make sure the basement is locked up at night,he was allowed to keep the coat though,our DOM has a heart.
