Royal Mail expects to deliver 600,000 copies of the seventh and last Harry Potter book on Saturday 21st July. Surely, as we are in dispute with the employer, this would be an ideal time to take Industrial Action on that day. Then perhaps the Business would take us seriously and come back to to negotiating table. P.S. I hate that boy wizard anyway!!!!!

Too late now I'm afraid, the union have to give RM 7 days notice of a strike date.

rip out the last chapter then seal it back up and deliver it,when amazon complain tell them that the last chapter must have gone over to the competition

It sounds like a good plan to hit royal mail, but the problem being it will also hit the public hard. I dont know about else where but down are way we have alot of public support, so ithink it would be smarter to keep them on side at the momment, and build up mommentum slowly with the public backing us. At the momment the public are with us, so hopefully we can keep them with us as the action increases.

The union would get absolutely hammered in the papers, in fact a senior mgr hinted that could quite easily be arranged.
