Just a quickie. Does anyone know if the new rounds associated with this are classed as 1 or 2 seperate rounds. ie, could one of you have no D2D whilst the other has 100%. Could lead to lots of problems if so.

Park and loop will be used to 'take the weight off the shoulder' and as such 2 guys will probablly do a 'one side of the street each' idea before meeting up at the van to drive a bit up the road. So in effect both guys are doing both rounds not 1 each.

You are still responsible for the individual round though, which does include redirects, kill-offs and Door to Doors.

So if you do one side of a street on your walk, and he does the other, will you have to check that he's delivered your door to doors for you?

What happens if one side has a letter for every house, and 8 packets, while the other side has less?

I can't see how park and loop will work any way other than the way it's done now on a couple of walks in my office IE: Driver drops off postman with his first bag, drops off other bags at various points for him, does large packets and his own walk. First postman waits in rain for bus back to DO.

he will have to deliver them for you as door to doors will be part of the round and he to will be getting paid for the door to doors even ifhe has non on his own round

The truth is nobody knows. The agreement is too vague and is left down to local negotiations yet again.

It all depends on the strength of your rep/office.

As I said you are responsible for your own rounds. If you are concerned about D2D then

1) They will know if it was your burst
2) Or your round.

Alternate bursts if you are concerned.
