Hi
Just home from work.I put in an hours overtime on Saturday for the week. As had finished about 15 minutes or so over my time everyday last week. When started filling in the 552 the assistant manager questioned me asking me what time i finished at on tuesday. Just happened that was my busiest tuesday for a while and i finished 5 minutes before my time. So he never said anything else. Then I went in on Monday and he came up to me asked me what time i finished at on saturday i finished 10 minutes before my time and i told him that. He then started questioning that. He has since been round asking everyone in my van what time we got started and what time they think i would have finished at.He as also had my floater in to ask him how long my walk takes and how long he thinks it would have taken me.Today i got my pay slip and no overtime in it. So i went and asked. Was told that they are checking up on what i have said about finishing on Saturday as they dont believe me.Also was taking into the office and had the manager and the assistant firing questions at me at the same time. They then start saying about testing me on all aspects of the job. I have been in the job nearly 16 years.Never had any problems like this apart from these 2 managers.
Just needing some advice as feel im getting nowhere.

It's the same answer ever time, cut off in the future, cause them a problem and they will almost beg you to claim in the future.Embrager wrote:Hi

Re: Possible Bullying
When i have said in the past to them that i would cut off. They have said that they would force me to work over my time without any overtime payment. Then when i got union rep involved they backed down a little. Just the stress with it all is a nightmare at the moment.AnotherLimey wrote:It's the same answer ever time, cut off in the future, cause them a problem and they will almost beg you to claim in the future.Embrager wrote:Hi

An important thing to do is to write every thing down in a diary if you are being bullied.Times .dates who said what and to whom.Who were the witnesses etc.A good idea where possible is always to have a colleague with you whenever you speak with a manager.Try not to be on your own with one because if they are a bully they will deny everything and under an investigation it may be discounted.

Go see DOM with your rep. Get your rep to suggest that if doubts your docket is genuine the he should patrol you, test your duty or pay up. To cast doubt on your honesty throughout the office and two managers barracking you is Bullying.

Embrager,
Did anyone else put an overtime docket in on Saturday and got paid?
If they did, put in a stage 2 grievance to your manager's line manager:
" I filled in an overtime form for one hour's overtime on 20.03.10 as did one (some) of my colleague(s). I did not receive any overtime pay but my colleague(s) did.
I would like to be paid my overtime."

Tell us how you get on,
Good luck.

Re: Possible Bullying
Tuesday we finish at 13.30 and on a Saturday 12.30. There was others who put in overtime they were paid i checked before seeing boss. We do not have a banking hours policy. The union rep keeps telling us this. So when i mentioned this to the DOM today he said he is not interested in what the union say as thats rubbish and he can cast back what time you finish on other days. Was also told that they knew i finished before times many times in the past as if this had something to do with.
Of course will update this. Thanks for all the advice as said just needed some help wasnt sure where to go with all of this.
