its something like 4mph at the moment but that is set to be reviewed in the new agreement

Makes you wonder how we are supposed to achieve that with 16kg on your back as the national average is only 3mph unladen. Soon to appear in the national press:.... Postmen/woman wanted. You can never average 4 mph its madness. On a really good day ive ave 2.5 mph but take a day like today with lots of packets and sign for's and its down to 1.6 mph

children settle down,walk speeds,prep rates etc will be placed before the members before a vote is taken ,then the
decision shall be up to the individual from that point to say yes or no,is that so difficult to do.

I thought it was already inputted in pegasus and being used already

krussel all new agreed rates ,speeds etc shall be put into geo route by the cwu rep and the dom/so make sure the rep is
on the ball,hope this helps you.

Great, another "agreed rate" its all good, agreed rate for Georoute, Agreed IWT/BSI measures etc, shame its so agreed we cant actually know
what the agreed figures are

I'm quite a quick walker. I guess I would come close to 4mph. However, does it include stopping? If someone is out and you knock on the neighbours door and get no answer, and knock on the other neighbours door and get no answer, and knock on the door over road etc etc that would bring down the average speed to a crawl. How does Pegasus know how many times you stop, or how long it takes for someone to answer the door?

Not that I agree with it but those variable are covered in Pegasus/Gio-route. They are called the call rate (percentage of addresses visited) and attendance rate (percentage where customer interaction is required). There is also I believe an average of 8 seconds per address to put the mail through. These variables should be averaged out during the planning stage.
