Just guessing:

The ones that don't do door to doors (why not?) and don't get early shift premium will benefit.

The ones that use their cars will benefit, from fuel and other costs (when they get a van).

Just because someone benefits from the deal doesn't mean they should vote for it. If you vote NO, then we can go back and thrash out a better deal.

2010 payrise is 5.20 for a 30 hour week

My ESA is £4.65

80% of DTD calls is 376 for me

376 X 3 = 1128 X 1.67 pence is £18.83

My supplement is £15.45

Some weeks I have 3 sets, some 2 sets, some 1 set, very rarely none, various PP item payments and sometime the higher paying ones turn up when I’m on leave, happened last month. So I go for the 18.83 figure X 43 weeks to work out my annual payment, this is £809.69

My payrise is 55 pence more than the amount of ESA I lose so that and the supplement combined is £16

£16 X 52 weeks = £832

2011 payrise and the SWW boosting the hourly rate means financially the proposed agreement is irrelevant for me as a individual so my judgement as a individual comes down to operational issues.

Any part timer on delivery that votes yes needs that hole in their head plugged.It's not even up for debate,part time delivery staff are getting shafted.

I'm expecting cwu to get back around the table with rm and sort out a deal that doesn't leave us worse off than we are at present.

Far from happy with the present conditions but I'd take them any day of the week over this shambles of a proposal.Militant may be used as a derogatory term on here,but we could do with a few more militants in the workforce.

Its an old trick, using fear of consequences, and its one that works on some otherwise RM would not keep using it on a local or national basis.

Examples which some may recognise:

If you don't agree with this proposal we will bring in the orgininal one.

If you don't agree with pegasus revision we will EA it at the higher speed.

If you don't deliver it all we'll do you for wilful delay.

If you fall ill we'll visit you. (slightly tongue in cheek)

Part timer and I`m voting NO !!

but down to the amount in my office who are listening only to what they want to hear , I am expecting it to be voted in Thats the only reason I will be staying in the union . . . . for the moment . I`ll be expecting their backing when I work strictly by the book

I know but as far as I can see it`s the only defence we have if this gets voted in . I have no trust in RM or the CWU , my rep is recommending the deal
