80% of the staff is below par.
80% need to up their performance.
80% of office staff are not deserving of their salary.

And try as hard as they can that 80% will always lag behind the top 10%

How any self-respecting union man could sign up to that corporate crap, is beyond me.

The top 10% so we must all run around like greyhounds on speed never make a mistake and never have any time off just so we can pay the top ten percent of royalmail :cfo and the elite :mfo of this country for a deal that works out as a 10% pay cut over three years!. VOTE AGAINST THIS AGREEMENT FROM HELL.

Great point. There will ALWAYS be a bottom 90% no matter how more and more 'efficient' we become. So this section of the Agreement consigns 90% of the workforce to be enternally below standards. That means 90% wont be getting their bonuses.

The top 10% if it's an office policy will be compared with 'model' offices where staff are encouraged to rush round by being bribed with sweeteners like ghost OT, job and finish or 1 in 3 Sats off. They will rush round to keep their priviledged position and the rest of us will be given no sweeteners and be screwed into the ground.

It's the end of doing the job properly boys. Doing the job properly will now mean meeting the top 10% and that will mean rushing round. A total fu*k job. Top 10% CANNOT be accepted it is the end of safe working and the end of our long-term health.

this is the main reason why we should vote no.

i do think though this is a red herring to try and make the door to door deal look mild in comparison.

if they forced through the 10% rule there goes the redundancies they want......if we dont vote it through they havent got a chance of sacking peope for "under performing"

A fair number in our office start earlier than their official time just to give themselves a chance,including me I'm embarrased to say.This week our CWU rep told our DOM he was getting hours for nothing to which he replied "Theyre coming in early cos theyre useless!"
Today I started at 6am instead of 6 45, prepped 2 frames (1200) doors, delivered mine without a break and finished at 4 10 but apparently wer'e all useless. From now on I start at 6 45
