Dave Joyce the man a few posters have previously called our saviour seems to have gone missing in action.

Has Ward and Hayes sent him on a fact finding mission to outer mongolia while they rip up our terms and conditions?

As an H&S rep i wonder what Mr Joyce has to say about 5 hour delivery spans as suggested by our area rep today and furthermore unrestricted delivery spans as the agreement states.

In the blueprint for new deliveries H&S was at the centre of all new delivery models,with the proposed new agreement i might as well pack it in.

Thats right, Royal Mail can with EA though, and if they did that locally, unlike now they wouldn't be breaking a national agreement.
I know that the agreement says that delivery spans will be agreed locally, that doesn't mean that you do that once, and then thats them agreed for evermore.
Or i should say there is nothing in the agreement preventing this. btw, you could always agree diffrent/longer delivery spans locally.

A lot of delivery guys,of which there is more than MC workers are not going to accept this deal and when the deal Keggie brokered came out it was the death of him...where is he now, sailing his yacht of the Scottish coast no doubt

And don't forget that under the terms of this new deal that any disputes arising from EA should now be resolved locally So an injury to one shouldn't bother the rest of us much, till it's our turn. Interesting to see how work will get diverted next time London go out ,because under this agreement it looks like our officers have done away with the notion of national strikes

Its dosnt have to be forced in.Its in the agreement-no max delivery span.In the next couple of years im sure we can avoid it until indoor work dictates that delivery has to be increased.

Meantime for part timers in our office to get full time hours they would have to except a five hour walk.

The only argument I want to hear at that point is SWW, 35 hour week remains CWU policy so should continue to be pursued.

Judging by the pace it's taken them to get 1 hr taken off the working week, how long do you think it'll take them to get the other 4 hrs removed Daz?
