I wouldn`t mind a new one either, best jacket in recent years, still wearing mine daily buts its getting a bit worse for wear now, all frayed at cuffs but still much better than fleece

got one thats about 5 or 6 years old still in good nic,exept the large scar up the left side where it got caught on a gate ,(also got an 8 year old fleece which i still wear) the great thing about the harriningtons is they fold up quite small to fit in your bag on hot days

I think they were axed sometime between 2001 and 2003. The only option now is the (s**t quality) fleece.

why the hell did they axe the harrington?????? they were best for spring and summer ,people like myself knowing we cant get another one are walking about in holed out scruffy torn harringtons! the alternatine,,??? a bloody fleece in the summer ,,any of them got brains at the top?

Best jacket ever, I have a couple that I alternate. The fleece vests that zip into the Harringtons are pretty good too

One of the old boys in my office is taking VR in the next few weeks, had my eye on his harrington for a while now. Looks like a very smart piece of kit.

Can anyone tell me what is the point in the fleece? Too hot to wear in spring/summer, wind blows straight through it in the winter, not waterproof at all, too big to take off and put in your pouch. Absolutely useless.

I was looking for a reasonable couple of bags the other week (as mine had stayed in my van whilst gone for service) in the big pile of used stuff in our drying room. I found a large fleece still in its bag It has a red inner lining to it and is a much thicker quaility than the ones ive had in recent years. I am cuffed with it.

ive been waiting two years to get my hands on a harrington i was finally given one the other day,put it on and it looked like a tent must be xxxl its in v good nic if anyone can swap for small

I started wearing my Harrington this week now the weather has warmed up a bit. The best for winter was the thermal coat with the removable sleeves, still got mine somewhere, slightly faded and a bit snug another good piece of kit they got rid of
