Can't argue plenty in delivery will be seeing less in their pay packet in the guise of a rise!!!, however, the mail centre staff do not get the supplement and the bulk of the job losses will come from there also I believe.

sorry to upset you and i dont want a conflict but by that remark i suspect you work in doors if so answer me this why should i take a substantial cut in pay to do more work in less hours to enable the cwu to spread thoose saving acrooss the whole of the membership

Just cant understand why the indoor staff get a share of the dr2dr purse when its us on deliveries doing all the hard work,
i wouldnt expect to get a share of their night-shift allowance or the various bonuses that they get i.e. for cleaning the machines.

Now here is a contraversial opinion, D2D and the Delivery Supplement is not the be all and end all of the deal.

There is a lot more lurking in there if you take a close look that affects all functions.

Because this is a UNION and we should be sticking together and helping each other out through the good and bad times.

Unfortunately DO`s have had yet another kicking as spoken by my manager, but then again was he just drumming up conflict

What I don't understand is why the CWU think its ok to capture our early shift allowance so its not lost and then spread it around all functions.Surely the same principle should apply to all allowances protected under "grandfather rights" eg ex PHG,driving etc. these are also lost when someone leaves the business and these should be "captured" and spread around everyone.Or to take all this to its logical conclusion and pay everyone whos an OPG the same-pro rata of course !

Fair point about OLD PHG and Driving allowance tomango it puzzles me why these were not included in new delivery supplement.

Especially as ex phg and drivers seem to benefit most from new delivery supplement.
