Arm yourselves with information. Make sure you get access to RM intranet. This is your right. Phone up HR to get your LAN account and insist. Once you have a LAN account, find a work PC, log in and click on to the internet. You will be asked to type in your NI and payroll numbers. You will then have access to all of RM's policies. Type 'grievance' into the search facility and study the procedure.

You will then be equiped to join the Spring Grievance Counter Attack.

You can't trust the union, get clued up on agreements.

Join the counter attack.

Grievances are particularly effective if raised for operational reasons. For example, our new printer was not connected to the network for 3 weeks. Within half an hour of raising a written grievance 3 managers got it sorted. Management are trying to make staff afraid of them. If you show them you can express yourself in writing, they will be afraid of you.
