Would -I hope that just an incorrect use of words because I firmly believe that whichever camp your own everyone should vote. If you don't vote then why join a Union one of the reasons for a Union is for your voices to be heard.

If you are not in the Union then using the would vote statement why not join you could change it then.

The sooner these arseholes that use their own cars go the better,ditto the arseholes who come in early.The amount of times I've missed a run out due to these dicks is unreal.Hanging about for ages waiting on the van coming back because these fan dans want to finish 5 minutes early.

A member in my unit asked me the other day " have you seen anything good in the agreement", "yes" I replied "cars will be banned when delivery methods are introduced".
Anyone who still wants to use their cars must be living in a different world than everyone else. A lot of this situation could have been avoided if only delivery staff had been doing the job properly.

You better quantify that post.A hell of a lot of delivery staff are doing the job properly,it's just we are the ones getting the s**t for not completing in time/cutting off.

i use my own car,try narrowing down your stupid blinkered arguement to the to$$ers who still think job & finish still is in place & who run round to get finished earlier &they squeal like a pig when they get lapsing or pkts to deliver,i take my breaks,don't come in early & do my job,but cos i use my car i'm part of the problem? It is still one less thing for your run-around driver to do.If they have spent 1.2 billion on modernisation,and we have an opportunity,(very rare), to make sure they spend it properly.This money includes vans/trolleys.
If we have this stuff and don't use it,they will be knocking on the door again for savings.

But surely these same people will not have an argument about using their own cars cos we will be van sharing unless you are within 1 mile of DO and then you will use a trolley!!!
So any argument about returning to the office is bollocks cos you will have a lift and if you use a trolley then you are dropped off at the furthest point from office and work your way back...how simple is that, why use your own car,petrol,get your employer to pay
Now is the right time to wipe the slate, do the job correctly and then we will see just how many hours need put back into offices, people will only fly about and come in early cos they think they can still finish early, sorry guys but you will only end up with more work...

Exactly. Like I said, some will be relieved when CDV's or whatever come in, as they won't be left stranded miles from their office. They'll be happy to leave thier cars in the office car park.

Whether we agree with the agreement or not.Any wage rise would be wasted on petrol and wear and tear of your private vehicle. If you look at the state of a Royal Mail van,(interior especially),that tells you everything.
