Part time staff new hourly rate

Does anyone have the new rate that would be introduced in respect of the agreement??

I believe this was to compensate for the f/t staff going from 40 to 39 hours

It was mentioned in Glasgow today though that part timers will see their hourly rate increase though.

So the 1hr less pw is ALSO pro-rata? In other words ONLY 40hpw contracts will get it? What a feckin joke. So PT'ers will now be getting MORE per hour than full-timers? I bet that will be cancelled after a year or two. Probablly illegal anyway. This Agreement gets feckin worse.

We will get the same hourly rate.

FT basic pay/39 hours gives the hourly rate this is then multiplied by however many hours you work.

With the 2% rise, everybody's hourly rate would be increased to £9.09 per hour, both full and part time. It's just that full timers will see no increase in basic pay because of the hour less.

Hopefully more work. In an office of 50, thats 50 hours work that needs to be done. Hopefully some of it will go to part timers.

If the working week remained 40 hrs, then a 25 hr worker would get £221.60 including the 2% rise. The reduction to 39 hrs means a 25 hr worker will get £227.28 basic. Before anybody starts, I'm in no way trying to sell the deal, I'm still firmly in the NO camp.

The supplement would be £13.20 for a 25 hr worker, yes before tax.
