6.18 early shift allowance

Post by daz1810 »

1 st time poster here , some help appreciated please,, transferred from Stoke-on-trent to Stockport in June 2008, lost my early0.500 allowance at Stoke and my reserved driving rights payment,, only came to light last week that i have not had the 0.530 allowance since i started at Stockport, i am full time 40 hours employee with 21 yrs service so don,t ask me why nothing registered with me before now !!!! hours i work are Mon and Tues 0.630-14.00 , weds 0.600-14.00 thurs fri and sat 0.530-14.00,,,, however having taken this matter up with line manager he and wages both say i am only entitled to the 6.18 payment pro-rata as we only have 3 out of 6 0.530 starts,, therefore they are saying despite rest of my office all getting the 6.18 weekly i will only get a pro-rata of this,,, does anyone know if this is in fact correct or am i been had !!! thanks for any help offered

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
