Does anyone have any idea what is expected on the 3 day Induction Course for new Workplace Coaches? Does anyone have any Course content or know where I can get it.

It was basically a training course and you get to do group activities to demonstrate your ability to explain things to people etc.
And we got food :)

Not sure, the coach we have, has been doing it for nealy 3 and a half years .....and has,nt done anythink at all for the 30 quid......EASY MONEY ..

Naaaaaa, when some1 leaves , we just dont get anyone to replace them. there was 104 posties 3/4 years ago, now only 84.....rm say it will come off our budget for that year......YEAH YEAH YEAH,......

Also, don't 4 get the allowance is pro rata, so if you're part-time don't be looking for £30!

I get the £30 pro rata as I'm part time (although if I do less hours for any reason, they deduct money.... don't add any on when I do full time though!!)
However, I DO work for my money. I put together new starter packs and do PAF. Plus a load of other rubbish.

It's pro rata like everything that part timers get. Doesn't matter what hours you work, you get it at what you're contracted. Doesn't really bother me, I'm actively seeking alternative employment.

PAF- Postcode address file. I do the updates so they can sell the database and make lots of money. Sorted out several offices so far. What is the point of a "Workplace Coach". ? Why not just "shadow" another postie for a fews days or so ? Will save RM money.
