I can not believe how petty the managers are getting; today I was asked to go in to the Dom s office and told
I shell be interviewed later this week about a 21 second video clip I placed on you tube of my work mate falling
Asleep in work time learning, apparently I have breached royal mails confidential terms, he is also informing IB,

ANNY ADVICE PLEASE

My advice would be get the union involved and don't say anything to anybody until you do. Also get advice on whether or not you need a solicitor. An area rep would be the best to get on your side, even if all they do is advise the local rep.

One thing to be thinking about is How do they know you posted it

This has happened to another member on here he has been threatened with the conduct code.
One member has deleted his posts.
One has had to leave here fearing his job.
And another one has been pulled into his DOM's office about comments he has made on here.
I'm gonna make a proper post later when i can get some time.
In the mean time if anyone wants to change their username then pm me.
Do not pm the mods,pm me.
Also some of you it would be wise to perhaps change your location in your profile/sigs if you have your office in there.

There are Managers on here, some with RM.com e-mails some with just your normal addys,so they are watching.
They are obviously some sad cases out there that can't take criticism, and don't want us to tell it like it really is.

You are on the most militant postie site anywhere on the net,so just be careful.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Confidential terms my arse, we had a manager who had used to work at our office and left who gave personal information about a postman in a pub to the postmans neighbour who he was in dispute with, and guess what the manager got away with it, the postman had to do a rooftop protest to even get an apology off RM...UNITY IS STRENGTH.

If they're filtering it, they might not be on management PCs - not hard to set up different rules on different machines/accounts, especially if some are being encouraged to come on here.

It's also not too hard to find ways 'round web filtering either.

What are they charging you with? Personally, this is a new one on me. I can't think of anything like it in all my time in Royal Mail. It's not as if you've breached the Official Secrets Act or given details to a competitor. I seriously don't think they can sack you for this.
