I think mine actually have been around the time of industrial action,when they were trying to cajole us into working,and covertly trying to find out who was in the union or not!

Tell him you're going to send an e-mail to "Ask Adam" suggesting that to make drastic and easy savings, sack ALL managers of DOM grade and below, resurrect the PHGs and have one PHG in the am, one in the PM, and one more to cover A/L or sickness over 3 or 4 local offices ( sort of PHG reserve ), then rejig all pay levels accordingly for grades above DOM....hey presto, annual savings of at least £20 - 30 MILLION, if not more! And that must be before any savings from bonus payments
