here it is,i am at present on light duties for the past 2 weeks indoors f/t 8 hrs,my rest day was supposed to be this Saturday,my name is not on the rota or signing in sheet,got called in today to be told "as you are on REHAB,i have changed your rest day from Sat to Wed,now i have been taking my rest days on rotation Mon-Sat including last week when on light duties,& i was off Wed anyway cos its Paddy's Day in N.Ireland.also i have told him countless times that my wife works shifts & has to know my rest day a week in advance so she can work the night previous to enable me to look after the kids.
I told him no way ,i was entitled to my rest day & my wife cannot change her shifts now,i am not on rehab but have been getting properly shafted whilst indoors,also been worked right upto my time,& not job & finish like everyone else,where do i stand? cheers in advance for any help

as long as they give you 24 hours notice i'm pretty sure they can do what they want
as for working the hours you get paid what do you expect? all jobs are like this, just when your on the outside the finishing time is in your own destiny as long as your at a office like mine where you don't need to return when your finished.

if you stick to your rotation day every week they cannot just change your day off plus if you are on light dutys you should be working less hours to and have agreed this with your manager before agreeing to come back to work
