In my office id say it is going to be an overwhelming NO vote. The feeling is much the same as last year when voting for the strikes. It really beggars belief that our highly paid representatives have negotiated (ha) for 3 months and the best they come back with is an effective pay cut. Disgraceful!

I think nationally it'll sadly go in favor of a yes.

My bet: Yes 57% - No 43%

Unlikely as its not done on percentage but total numbers - however in the unlikely event that both sides had say 50134 votes each 4 things depending on the rules of the vote could happen.

The scrutineers could go back to the spoiled votes and see if any of them can be accepted as valid. But more likely is that someone at HQ has the deciding vote, or they could run the vote again. Or perhaps even as the agreement does not have a majority the status quo may hold the field.

As you can see it all depends on what the CWU rules are regarding ballots.

I think it will be an overwhelming Yes vote. At least 70% for. There are far too many only concerned with themselves and the £££ signs dangled in front of them.

It'll be pretty close but I reckon it will go through once the propaganda from RM starts in earnest.

Most people won't read the agreement, they'll go with their reps recommendation and they'll swallow the shite that RM are gonna drip feed them between now and voting.

I'd like to see an area breakdown after the ballot regardless of the result.

I reckon 60-40 YES.

All the area reps I have spoken to are keen on the deal and are making inroads with the local reps, outrage on the floor however.
I will vote NO, as will my office and most of you, but I still fear the worst. Three years ago it seemed to be a similar story.
Just remember, after the hard sell- we will still be losing money and working harder.

If it gets voted in so be it. We will just watch and laugh when all thier new plans and ideas fail miserably as we know it will. Today at WTL we fired questions at the doms and they did'nt have an answer for anything almost felt sorry for the poor mites.

I think it'll be a close vote,with all being affected in some way,albeit some will get a bigger kicking than others.There are delivery staff who want the vr packages,so will proberly vote yes in the hope RM will start culling staff in deliveries with offers of hourage buy downs or indeed the vr packages.Mail center/processing staff now know that rm want to cut mail centers and staff in those functions who want out will vote yes in the hope their mail center is one of the ones due for the chop and therefore will get the chance to grab any vr package on offer.

Smart ass'd managers should think back to the last time they tried to implement sh*t duty's without agreement.

1- HQ will do nothing
2- Wildcat strikes in a limited number of offices
2- Local official strikes follow
4- National strikes follow
5- RM try to be bold and say they can stand a strike for as long as it takes
6- After we lose ££'s and RM lose £££££££££££'s then RM come back to table
7- We all get together again, in one big happy family and CWU HQ will take all the credit.
8- We get the deal of the century ( again )

my feelings are 63% Yes 37% No. This is coming in guys begin to like it. Ward and co are selling this as we have no other options,no chance of renegotiation as the deal can get no better as this is RM final and best offer and they don't believe members will support a strike, this WILL be voted in
