My reasons, in order, for voting no.

Before I start I'd like to say I find those considering voting yes absolutely astounding. This is an awful deal, its not even a deal, I feel naucious calling it a "deal". Its all RM wanted and the Union just handed it to them, on a plate. Are the yes voters going to just roll over and let RM tickle their tummies while they steal their bone??

Right back on topic, in order.

1. Later start and finish times. NO. Er indoors leaves for work just after 2, in the school holidays or if either of my kids is sick, I'm screwed.
2. Later Saturdays. NO. We work late enough on a Saturday, I usually finish before 11, and if the carrot is 1 in 4 Saturdays off then they can kiss it.
3. No limit on walk spans. NO. We currently have a limit, why should we want to change it to even bigger walks, many are struggling to complete as it is.
4. Pensions. Nothing in the deal about pensions, so again. NO.
5. Pay cut. NO. We're low paid to begin with, £20 or £30 less a week might not seem much to Billy, Dave or the RM top brass, but it is to us, could make the difference to a mortgage getting paid, why would we vote for that???
6. Unlimited D2D. NO. When its 100% call rate will they change the Pegasus devised walks? No chance. So its running the gauntlet on a daily basis to finish on time, and finishing on time will become paramount to a lot of people with kids. This means a daily squabble with management because you will have to cut off or hand back, mine incidently hates the "agreement" too as it will make his life hell and he knows it.
7. D2D payments. NO. This is the least of my worries, but coupled with No 6 and No 5, this makes D2D impossible to manage. If they kept the cap at 3 per week for the £20.60, I might consider it, but with the other 6 points it gets a big NO from me.

Give RM a yes vote, then you just signed your own deatch certificate.

It just mean's "Fixed that for you" - A well thought out post you wrote but I would not agree to the £20.60 unless they ditched pro-rata. No, it doesnt mean what you think it means

I've already on the yes votes said why i'm being voting no. Pension - has our union delivered - no. Early allowances has gone - what is next. Driving. D2DS only worth £20, we already get £30 for 3.
This deal is only paying for a better deal for our management. RM hidden agenda.
