Still undecided YES or NO??

When i first saw the agreement, my initial reaction was NO NO NO!! I have read the agreement again and spoke to members and read debate on here. Now i am undecided and am starting to think about a yes vote . Yes i can understand about the concern of loss of money due to d2d's and the later saturdays is an issue, but i'm starting to think that if you have a good local rep and he has the support of area rep and brach then you could possibly negotiate a decent local agreement:

If you think about d2d's,
1)if your paid 8 or 10 hours then thats what you work no more no less. d2d's are to be done in workload.
2)if you can get a 4 day week then you will only be doing 66.6 % of the d2d's per week for your duty . At the moment most people do 100% of there d2d's not leaving any for there float, this will now stop so people will be delivering either 66.6% or 82.4% of there d2d's.The planning of the d2d's will be crucial, now the cap has been lifted how do you plan duties? you could have 2 lots one week then 6 lots the week after, how do you plan for this?

Later saturdays:
1)you can get 1 in 3 0r 4 saturdays off, thats a plus. I realise the rest of the saturdays you could be working till 2 but i think with the right negotiation from your rep, this time can come down, maybe 12.30 or 1pm??
2)you could only be working 4 days a week!! I would except a 4 day weeks for a little later saturday especially if i could get 1 in 3 off!

As i say i think i'm coming around to voting YES!

What ever happens , i won't be pulling from the CWU, if the CWU was not there just imagine what would be happening to all of us, All you on here saying your stopping your subs need to think hard because thats exacly what royal mail wants, No union would be a disaster, then you would have no say in your futures and this deal would look like a god send.

Yeah, my view is you need to read the AGREEMENT, not peoples views on it.

d2d IS ALREADY done in workload. The change is it will be planned into pegasus - apparently.

E verything else you mentioned is a pipe dream. None of it is laid out in the agreement only the possibility of it. All the decisions rest with your DOM, he/she has final say. So in summary, if you trust RM and any future DOM they may foster on you to do what you ask them to do then sign away.

Lots but unprintable One thing you might want to consider though; If you are willing to accept more work for less pay now in return for an unspecified job protection 'guarantee', what do you think the next 'agreement will look like

yes d2d is done in the workload but has never been included as workload.

I never took industrial action for pay.It was the executive action and the degrade of the service.
