We all know when we read the deal its a crock of sh*t...why would we vote for a pay cut when house hold bills /fuel and everything else is on the up.....after being in the union all my life ...going out at every strike to support the cause...we have to teach those that lead us that the way they have reperesented the membership will not be tollerated ...after all we are the union..i say all high level union reps should have delivery/mc experience for part of the year to see how the job works...going by the same old rules divide and conquer again

your right some people will not be given all the info and be lead to believe this is a good deal, the union wont send us the full document when they ask us to vote they will dress it up to make it sound good

Are you sure about that Daz?
Maybe you think you do because at the moment you don't do your own D2Ds.
Someone else does them for you and receives the payment.
How much will this other person lose when they no longer receive a payment for doing your D2Ds.?

What will a no vote achieve other than isolation for postal workers we would have no public support no government support no ACAS support no TUC support and a split membership on the verge of the longest industrial action dispute we would ever have embarked upon. Has someone a credible way to change this deal for the better, just saying “£30 for door to doors for a start” that isn’t credible, keeping the payment as now isn’t credible either it’s royal mail that look for the work why would they bother if it isn’t worth anything to them?

We are to lose our 5.30am start time money.=£6. and it is replaced with £20 for doing more d2d. so for us it is a pay cut.

To qualify it though Big Daz its dependant on circumstances and does not happen till the 2nd or 3rd year.

Also after the past 3 years of pay freezes and below inflation pay rises its not certain that the 2012 pay rate will be the same in real terms as the 2006 one .

well its better than this Single people:

Aged 16-17: £50.95

or in specific circumstances: £50.95

Aged 18-24: £50.95

Aged 25 or over: £64.30

Couple:

Both aged 18 and over: £100.95

Where one or both partners are aged under 18, their personal allowance will be calculated based on their specific circumstances.

Lone parents:

Aged 16-17: £50.95

or depending on their circumstances: £50.95

Aged 18 and over: £64.30

Dependent children:

From birth to day before 20th birthday: £56.11

this is income support if there is a no vote this is what i think a lot of us will be getting in the future could you live on this ?
