Rules regarding weekends off & notice of duty rota?

I cover a small group of SPDOs(6) and probably know 20 walks between them. I've been doin the Leave Reserve job for about 5yrs and have never had more than 2 weeks notice (even though now I'm full time) of what duty I'm to be covering. In the past couple of years it's been down to the Thursday(earliest) but more often Friday / Saturday when I'm told where I am the following week.

We've been told by our LM that we're not permitted to have a leave sheet up in each office so I cant check & see what I might be on in the future either.

I've read somewhere on here about 1 saturday off in 6wks but does that include multi office reserves? ATM I just presume I'm working 6 days for planning family things as I never know what I'm working week 2 week!

your supposed to have 1 in 6 saturdays off even if you are a reserve, speak to your dom and your union, in my office the reserves who speak up for themselves get it, as for what duty you will be covering from week to week im afraid at most offices you dont get much notice, but tell your dom at the next opportuinity to put you on a duty to cover where the rest day is a saturday as you are due a saturday off or you will be taking it further.

I'm a FT reserve aswell, no long weekends for me either. Most of the time I end up with Tuesdays off

This is pretty much my lot in a nutshell. And up until the last month or so i had to wait until Saturday to find out what was happening the following week. I wonder what will happen when i ask about being put on a proper rota.
