OK ..... Who has the smallest walk ?

Having read through a lot of posts, I have seen walks that have only a couple of hundred drops.
So who has the smallest walk??? how few drops?, and is that because it's a long way between each of the house ? and long does it take ?

I know of a duty in a neighbouring office that has 120 calls, now that's a proper rural!

Mines quite small

I have a rural section, about 70 drops, takes over an hour, getting in and out of the van every minute or so plays merry hell on your back. I also have mixture of small blocks of flats, large houses with drives, and terraced houses, spread out in different parts of town, all the bits left over after Pegasus/Georoute had worked it's magic.

Still takes me around 3.5 hours though.

Non Rural walk. But with only 281 drops. This is because I have a knackered knee and am on light duties. So doing 2 "starburst" duties to build my strength up again ;)

I covered some old senior bastards walk on a Friday not too long ago really heavy day as well, I had never done the walk before so I was half an hour late getting out the door due to being slow throwing it off. I was finished at 11:30.

The walks are f***ing CURRUPT!!! the managers make easy walks for there buddies while otheres are struggling hours after there times..

If they had said in the agreement they will check all walks are fair and equal i might of voted for that alone!

If my office is anything to go by the Walks are far from balanced and it's no surprise that the crusty old gits that have been in the post office 20 years or more all have the easy walks. I cycle past some of them as they head home while I'm starting my 30 minute ride back to the office! That means they were back at the office before 13:00 .

No walk is longer than 3.5hrs - if you choose to go over this time then thats YOUR choice! So grow a pair, cut off and stop moaning.
