Whilst I have made my comments on the door to door into workload clear.

London`s policy on the new agreement is that unless all the outstanding issues on the interim agreement is resolved then we will not be support the new national agreement. We have a very important meeting on Monday with Mangement and Acas to resolve this problem.

If the outstanding issues are resolved then the London Divisional Committee made up of every Branch in London will discuss whether we have a united policy on the agreement. There will be a London units reps meeting on Thursday 25th March to dicuss the agreement. Branch committees will also meet over the next week or so to dicuss the merits of the agreemen and there will be special meetings of the members.

However in our view Mondays meeting will be a make or break situration for the London members.

With regards to Door to Door for a number of years , and as a result of last years action in London door to door quality is on the floor in London with many postcodes not getting more than 1 door to door. Plus in some offices we have door to door barons , 3 employee wages were above 80 000 pounds with one at 96 000 who delivered all the door to door for an office. One employee even had a frame in his house.

Plus in London we have seen that four day weeks and 9 day fortnights are very hard to mantian without an increase in workload. Door to Door will assist in this operation.

We have made this view known at Bounemouth.

Should be a very intresting few days.

Get some D2D barron in EVERY office then give them all the D2dustbins,but only pay him half of what he gets now......this ensures he` still Full time and maintains his standing in the office !

He probably started up a rag and bone man type business, got himself a horse and cart, load the cart up with a whole district's worth of junk, then with the aid of his son, delivered the unwanted shyte to unsuspecting householders, and he's rolling in clover, a sort of Steptoe and Son in reverse, they don't take shyte off you, they land a ton of it on your mat.
