HAD MY DAY OFF YESTERDAY GOES IN THIS MORNING YORK FULL OF PACKETS FRAME FULL OF COUNCIL TAX BILLS THE LAD WHO COVERS ME TOLD ME HE,D WORKED TILL HIS TIME AND THAT WAS WHAT WAS LEFT TO DO.I WOULD HAVETHOUGHT IF A DIM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEARING MAIL HE SHOULD CLEAR PKTS.I TOOK PLANTS FLOWERS TRAKED ETC WORKED TILL MY TIME NOW THERES TWO YORKSOF PACKET.WHATS THE BEST WAY TO KICK UP A STINCK AND GET IT SORTED OUT ITS NOT THE FIRST TIME ITS HAPPEND HAVE A GO AT DIM IN ONE EAR OUT THE OTHER THE PLANK I WILL BE VOTING NO ON THE S**T DEAL

Do as teebs says and keep pointing it out to a manager. Just work your time and leave the rest of if you prefer/allowed book the extra on overtime

Get your local rep on the case,log the amounts,flag it up to your area rep who should then get on to your Dom and sort it out.

I would'nt worry too much about it pal. This will be the norm if this deal gets voted in. People failing to clear everyday with packets, first class letters,recordeds,specials etc, as RM want D2D to take priority as its thier biggest profit.

If your Dom aint interested and it keeps on happening im sure there is a number on the back of your payslip to phone an independant gaffer who will oversea the problem. Bullying and harrasment people i think?

this has happened in our office this week. surely the parcels market is as competitive as the d2ds, and they should be aiming to give a top class reliable service to outdo the other lot. i can't believe they don't make sure they are cleared every day. the one thing that people will be actually wanting delivered in good time. so sad.

This happens every day in the office i am based at they have taken so many hours out of the town duties and made so many walks huge replaced full time staff with part time staff taken full time staff of walks put them else where that it has become physically impossible to do the job,when you tell a manager that you are going home on time today and not doing the overtime they come out with cull the mail only take 1st class and dated don't take packets unless you have to as they are not part of the USO,we use to have a clear office with little or no failures now it's the norm.This will never get sorted as the managers have lost the will they are only there for the money not to do the job.

Ask your DOM if he is declaring Packets as a failure on DODR , there is now a specific question that asks -
Of the mail remaining in your office - HOW MANY OF THESE ARE PACKETS

How many 100's and that is not any form of a lie,it's like york city by the middle of the week you go round the walk's and the frames have so many jacked on the shelfs it's a regular argument every week a real bone of contention,you know when ever anyone say's anything he's got an answer smarmy t**t ,yet they stand there and tell you in waste time boring that we have to pull all the stops out and that the packets are a growth area and that Amazon are moving away from us and it's our problem because we went on strike i dont think that has anything to do with it,it's an excuse so they can cut hours.
