In my wages today I got 38.00 pound D2Ds and 12 pound early shift allowance which is 50 pound. How can the CWU say we have a good deal when there only paying 20.60 pound a week for unlimited D2Ds. In my eyes its a 30 pound a week pay cut. What do other people think.

Well £20 is what I average on D2D but I still think its totally wrong, you should be paid for what you do.Those that dont deliver them get nothing.How about say 2p for each one with a cap of 5.

I agree, in my wages this week I had £29.50 DTD and £6.18 early shift allowance Totals = £35.68
Royal Mails offer of £21 for DTD minus the £6.18 early shift allowance = £14.82
What a disgrace of an agreement, this is without even mentioning the colleague shares we have been working for these last 3 years which they wish to use as a golden carrot for this crap.

a got just shy of 40 .In effect we will get 7 quid a week for d2d. now we dine get d2d money say 11 weeks of the year , thats 77 quid .but we will be loosing between 10 to 25 quid a week !how can that be good ?

I got 27.46 for my d2d's this week which is less than I normally get, I was covering a rural of 366 drops and 6.19 mixed shift allowance(i only do earlies though ).

£12.10 for 1 D2D last week
£12.37 early shift bonus = £24.37 so doing 1 D2D i would be £3.77 down mmmmmmmmmmmm i think this is a crap deal stop my union fees and still i will be down -76p and thats only with one D2D

No we won't. It's just an £8 unpensionable supplement replacing the first £8 of the PBS/ICS supplement,
which I believe is pensionable. So it means we're just getting another cut in our pensions.
And I'll be voting NO too.

I wasn't here when the way foward, was agreed but from what i've read on here, it was unpopular with MC staff and voted in largely by DO staff....wheras Pay and Mod was largely the other way round.......Looks like we are all in the same boat this time!

Since everyone seems to be getting this 20.60 look at it that we are doing D2D's for free, and them that get it, have lost their ESA contrary to the pay and mod deal.

I was here during the Way forward it wasn't as popular in delivery as you might think, it was not passed by vast majority and if i remember right they found lots of papers in Wolverhampton after the count.
either way Delivery lived to regret it with those immortal word booming from the DOM's Office "well you have to accept it, IT'S IN THE WAY FORWARD"

the difference is, you now have job security and you will be paid to prep your d2d - whereas before you put the d2d up in your own time.

your also getting 1 hour off.

when the mechanisation kicks in - it will be later starts for everyone so probably shift payment would go down anyway.

in case nobody notice - they had to reach a deal to protect your pension. the govt said no deal no pension guarantee. so now they are lobbying to get the pension settled.

taken in the context of the worst recession in a lifetime and thousands of people are losing jobs, pay (british airways) blah blah, we WILL be lucky to keep our jobs.

i went on strike for job security - which has been offered to us - unless you want EVR in which case you would get enhanced rates - not the state minimum like lots of people.

i will be voting yes - what alternative would a no vote make?
