Why strike,as the old saying goes work to rule.Lets refuse to take them out ,yes it will hit us in the pocket,but it will also hit RM hard, if its such a major source of revenue they will surely realise the error of their ways and re-negotiate the terms of D2D.

If this "agreement" is voted in then the rule will be DO THEM or it's willful delay. Hang on, that's the same as now.

But under this new agreement they will be now part of the workload so full timers will be throwing them in for part timers who will then deliver it. Being treated as normal mail if we agree it, could even call them 3rd class mail.

Another alternative would be for RM to remove D2D altogether and employ a casual workforce to deliver them which, I believe, has been mooted in the past. Whether that was a serious move on the part of RM I don't know.

got to say that's absolute bollocks! employ a seperate workforce to deliver d2ds??????? and pay them what??????/ the shitty little pittance that we'll be getting for accepting them into workload? where would some spotty teenager on the minimum wage deliver ten lots of d2ds to? the BIN me thinks.

Hayes, Ward and the rest of the exceptionally overpaid cretins that got us this deal should get back on the shop floor and see what the delivery staff put up with day in day out. We're the ones that are that are knackered after doing our supposed 3.5hr deliveries that we go home and fall asleep as soon as we sit down, we're the ones that are in bed before the kids some nights because we're that shattered because of the physical nature of the job.

Come on big dave and billy get off your arses and come and do a delivery with me in the lakes, it'll kill you!

If billy done a delivery it would kill him, well billy if your reading this, this agreement will kill off most people aged 40+
