JUST REMEMBER THAT MANAGERS ARE FAILED POSTMEN AND WOMEN WHO WERE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO DO THE JOB

the main point about managers is that they need to be made to understand that our job is to do the leg work, and their job is to facilitate that, so that it all runs smoothly, as opposed to standing about cracking the whip and getting on everyone's nerves with their inability to organise properly. have to admit, we have had a good one in this week covering holiday. it makes the working day so much better.

my thread was posted tongue in cheek but you are spot on midvillain.a decent manager can make the shift go easier.unfortunately they are few and far between so we end up with a situation like we have now with most managers trying to browbeat us into submission.

Bang on the money. The lack of attention to detail that managers at Royal Mail display is something to behold. Drives me up the wall. Most are not managers in the sense that I understand.
