Oh deary me just read it and i feel that im in line for a drop in pay.

Its a no from me.

Maybe im wrong but the phantom shares are only going to be worth £1,100

Feck me my working week has been reduced by 1hr whoopie fecking do and here was me thinking we were going to a 37.5 hr week.

£20.60 for D2DS great ive lost at least £9.87 a week based on 3 but now im going to be taking 4-5.

The pay rise is a load of bolloxs as its not linked to inflation could it get any worse.

I've just read Roy Mayals piece in the Guardian online and then listened to the report on BBC News. I went back to the Guardian and now the link to Roy's item has disappeared.

I won't suggest anything except that Roy pointed out some of the bits that Postal staff will see immediately - despite the hype from both sides - on the face of it the deal is in the form of the usual carrots - lump sums - to sell off jobs and pretty much all the remaining good stuff left in the job.

Good luck guys - I'm very lucky and retired but I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

I can just imagine the management briefings telling them just how to screw you under the new terms. Its more full of holes than the dutch cheese.

I've not used any of the emoticons 'cos they will never convey just how much I think this deal stinks!

We gotta remember how much money we all lost on the picket line, then think all those arsxxxles on the negotiating team were all released from delivery so prob (although not certain) got paid, then think how many d2ds will they be delivering ( feck all by my count ), how many will lose their early morning shift allowance ( you guessed it feck all again), when are we the members going to understand that all the top union positions are filled with people who care only for easy money from, lets not forget ROYAL MAIL and their unending expenses, paid by :- yep us MUGS.

OH EPIPHANY MOMENT :- disband the union and ROYAL MAIL would save about 25 million yes thats right MILLION quid, stick that in the wages pot and i'd be happy.

Once again it`s the delivery staff that are getting shafted... if your in a mailcentre your going to be quids in, and thats why it will get voted in...the monkeys in charge of the union have the figures and know that this will get voted in by all the staff not on deliveries and we will have to put up with it.

Most of the arseholes at the top havn`t done a delivery since Noah was a lad or where on driving duties,do they care about the walkmen? Do they feck!! As seen by the pathetic quote of longer delivery`s but without the weight...

,feck off it`s the fookin extra walking already with Pegacrap thats putting more posties on the ill list already you set of pr**s.

I've got a horrible feeling you're right. Today in work was the first time i'd heard the whole office talk about the agreement for months. Here is a selection of comments i heard, (and this was from delivery staff):

I won't be reading 80+ pages, just tell me about the pay rises.

I'm still trying to work out whether this D2D supplement is a good idea.

I'm a reserve or floater so I'll get a £20.60 a week rise.

These comment don't fill me with confidence.

It will be accepted by the majority just for the money and what a pathetic pitence it is.

Everyone should take the time to read the agreement as its in there interest to but we have the situation of only a few reading it and filling the rest in on it.

What a bunch of idiots.

Surely the union have bolloxed here if they had given us additional payments for D2DS instead of most losing out £20-£30 and made saturdays a shorter day ,would this not have been more welcomed by the members.

If its rejected and i really hope it is R/M and the union arnt going to sit around the table again and thrash out a new deal. Do you remember the way forward agreement that was defeated first time around and some how the second time ( Which i can never recall this happening before) got voted in what a sham and it will be a sham this time around.
Who counts the votes is it an independent if it isnt it should be and i wonder how many people want receive there ballot paper.

If it was up to the union do you think they would have made us work longer saturdays.
The union is not responsible for the business plan - all they can do is try and make sure it is implemented fairly. They have tried to do that by us having more Saturdays off.
Do people think they are voting against longer Saturdays? Our vote won't change the business plan unless you live in cloud cuckoo land.

Understand were your coming from mother but saturdays have been a stumbling block for many years now and yes its R/M that want us to work later on a sat not the union.

But the union should of been pushing R/M on reducing saturdays regardless of there business plan.

We are handed R/Ms business plan year in year out and we argue the toss and on many occasions have reversed some of there business plan decisions and this is what the Cwu should have doe here,instead it looks to many like they have just handed over our saturdays to R/M for them to increase it at will and this may be far from the truth ,but to the members this is how it looks.

Business plans are there to be changed through negoatiations just cos there in black/white doesnt mean they are a done deal.

This agreement results to one thing and one thing only a drop in pay and thats how simple it is so YES the union have bolloxed.
