Not many people can be arsed to read a 60 page document and who can blame them.
Therefore, the side that gets its summary out is the side most likely to win.
The vote 'Yes' coalition are wiping the floor with us and I am kicking myself for missing a chance. We never took advantage of the leaked agreement at the weekend. We could have summarised it and then passed on our summary to the media before the opposition released their summary.
OK, we were persuaded that the leaked document was different from the final one. We still should have summarised it and marked it as 'summary of the leaked agreement document'.
What we need now is one hell of a summary that we can get out to the membership and media.
Let's try and list the main points for voting 'No' on this thread. To start:
Later finish times on Saturday.

Re: Battle of the summaries
1. No maximum delivery span! (whatever is agreed locally this year can be changed in the future by Royal Mail)
2. Agreed use of Indoor work tool & pegasus geo rote, as of yet without specified performance standards and they will never be part of the agreement so they could be changed in future! (it was use of these tools which led to stirke action to begin with.)
3. No resalotion to the outstanding pensions problems!
4. Changes in D2D will result in reduction in take home pay for many Postal workers!
5. The lump sums we are already contracturally entiteld to, and is not new!
6. Last years pay freeze still stands, although we do now have a hour reduction in our working week instead!
7. The improvments would in a best case senario be introduced in 2013, or in the worst case senario never as it is subject to review prior to it's introduction in 2012!
But other than that were do i sign?
