Any News from Bournemouth

has anyone heard what has been said to the Reps who traveled to Bournemouth.
Have they been given any info on the agreed workload tools etc.
Was there any dissent from the Area Reps and Branch Officials, or did they just accept what Dave and Co told them.

Its a 2 day event, so the reps will still have more info to recive and more debate to be had.

My branch is having a meeting of all its IR reps this Friday and will recieve reports back from our 4 area reps who are in attendance.

If the reps didn't kick up a fuss about this dire arrangement, they need shooting. It is completely useless, and many of us will end up losing money. Vote NO.

There's 5 useless gits away for a beano to Bournemouth from our local branch and I thought there was only supposed to be 1 representative from our local union allowed to go with all expenses paid, talk about the MPs riding the gravy train.,, oh and they make RM managers look clever

There will be much pontificating and feeling very clever indeed. If only those stupid members would see what wonderful vision the chosen ones have been blessed with. Drinks will be flowing and votes will be getting bargained and even if billy, dave and bob are ousted at least they will have their golden pensions.

be very careful of them 5 useless gits.if they are prepared to pull the wool over the unions eyes.imagine what they will do to normal workers.few free drinks ,couple of nights away from working and back to sell you the deal as if its the greatest thing ever.then if they are still actually doing postal duties they will jump ship to a nice cushy union positions were there is no work envolved

If you look at the LTB you will see a whole big list of entitlements, this set of proposals covers all grades in RML, so every grade needs somebody from their grade to be there speaking on their behalf.

I have heard that reps have been told they must "toe the party line" and sell us the agreement - I have news for them - we are not shopping - we are dropping - and soon we may be stopping.

Unlike the RM management structure where those at the top are only told what they want to hear from those below we are supposed to have a democratic union structure and freedom of expression. I hope the reps who have made the journey to Bournemouth used the opportunity to remind our Union leaders that we should have been consulted - not insulted.
