If we vote no and the deal doesn't get ratified where does that leave us???
there would be no public support, from a misinformed paper reading public!!!
would there be enough support to carry out meaningful strikes within our union considering how shafted we all feel over the last ones!!!

I really believe the negotiators have done there best, you gotta remember how awkward the management is and how they wanna force us into everything. From what i hear they didn't even want any sort of payment for d2d's they wanted them done for nothing.

One reason why i'll be voting no, is we are losing money. Our company will soon be privatsatised when Tories get in power or if Labour remain in power. The bonuses will not need to honoured, so in principle the money promised will be lies. You may need reach the targets anyway. Plus i don't think we should be voting Yes until this pension fiascao is sorted.

i feel the same way there plans for our office will just not work and at the end of the day we have all got a finishing time, and most of us will cut off or go off with stress.

CWU and RM get back round the table and discuss some more about what issues caused a no vote - I would say this is extremely unlikely as RM probably believe this deal is good (as do the CWU for some reason) and any further improvements to this "good" deal are remote.

We carry on as now - this means EA to a greater extent than now.

We go back out on strike - less public support, less union-member support and what I believe would be a long fight with no guarantee of getting anything at the end of it.

For those of us who are fairley new to this rm cesspit of doom, some of us have seen what companies do to employees in the real "modern" world. It aint pretty and its coming here .......IF WE LET IT

1) Team Work i.e lets Say 4 on a team and one is slower than the rest. He is grassed to the Team ferking leader, who goes licking the bosses back passage to get him removed. Boss apllies pressure and THE slower one gets boot or leaves bceause of intimidation.

2) Monthly Pay. bOSS COCKED UP YA EXTRA? WAIT A MONTH TO GET IT FIXED

3) Monthly "one to ones" or IOW's Appraisals I.e If he/she /they can do it why cant you type pressure? No performace no pay rise or bonus

4) No OT at ALL. All work after hours will be FREE as per the norm and this union wont help you much longer cos its finished. IF WE LET IT HAPPEN

5) Turn us into salespeople. When you knock on doors it will be "are you aware we also do special deliveries, parcels etc. is that summit you would be intested in?

6) Bosses will accept no excuses so you will get pissied of an leave so they dont have to buy you off. Dont expect CWU (C stands for COMMUNICATION BTW Union to help you after this second farce

7) If we say NO then all that left is STRIKE and is that what most Posties will do? I think not. Look at the idiots at BA who have volunteerd to work for FREE yes FREE what a bunch of twats. I worked for a company from 1980 to 1995. They were a 130 year old company world wide. 6 months after I left they went kaput and a 6 million hole was found in the Pension fund. All those who stayed till the end got stat min redun pay. 15 years later they finally sorted the penison out and I have got just 80% of my hard earned dosh back. They also me if I wanted to re-invest it. LIKE FERK I DO I paid it off the mortgage
