We the Mail Centre,s and other indoor staff appear to be getting the better part of the deal while our walking postmen are getting well and truely shafted, for those who are thinking "im alright jack " and decide to vote yes let me just point out one thing. ONCE RM HAVE SUCKED THEM DRY WHO IS NEXT ? We need to stand by our walking brothers and vote this out before it even gets in !! have no fear RM will come back for more blood if they get away with this just for example !! NO TPM
Change to shift hours affecting shift allowance !! MTSF just to name a few. JACK might be alright there just fattening the goose though.

Just my thoughts but we need to stand by the others

you misread my post i said at the moment we seem to be okay try reading it again it says we will get shafted the same as you !!!!!

Machineman it is good to see that you can see the broader picture, even in MCs. RM are already closing MCs up and down the country, and this will continue under the new agreement.
So, if those working in MCs think that "i'm alright jack", then think again before deciding to vote yes on the agreement because it looks favourable to those indoors, because you may find your out the door in the next 3 years and knowbody to blame but yourselves.

And I note that the agreement is full of stuff about using "clear choice" to assist staff affected by closures.

Well let me tell you we have had 6 months or more of complete bullshit, lies and disinformation from clear choice. The disinformation is in fact the only information we get off them. They know sod all, but to be fair RM simply hide behind them and don't tell anybody anything.

The whole process is a complete shambles and you simply wouldn't believe how bad clear choice really are. A bit predictable but they are nicknamed "NO CHOICE" around crewe. Basically whatever choices/options you put on the preference form it is made clear at the 121 that if you don't put warrington down, then you will still be offered a job at warrington in the final "decision" 121, and you will be expected to take it.

Although they don't go as far as to spell it out, it is hinted clearly that if warrington is not acceptable to you then you are making yourself redundant.

Clear choice is just a scam by RM to try and head off constructive dismissal claims/cases.

And i think that if any m/c staff are suckered into voting yes, then surely the delivery section nationwide will easily outnumber them?
