How much will you lose in D2d payment?

I stand to lose around a 1000pounds before tax a year with this deal. that includes the proposed supplement and pay rise .
I do have a lot of calls on my round but some have more in my office .The only real gainers here have low volume rounds.

i won't lose anything, btw, as i don't do any at the moment. i hate the bloody things. might donate my £20 to someone else to do them for me, if that'll be possible.

The avarage round in our office has about 450 - 500 drops there are the odd one or two that have 600 drops. Nearly every round takes out 3 D2D items a week and pick up £12 early shift allowance, now how the feck is anyone better off with this new deal? Am I missing some thing?

with the pay rise and the inclusion of d2d into workload and a reduction of 1 hour of your attendance you will find you are not actually losing as the prep time will take up more of your duty and all delivery duty holders will receive the £20.60 for 52 weeks of the year.
what else you need to take in to account is that royal mail could have ceased the early shift anyway as you properbly do not start early anymore and that long term d2d is going to arrive in a plastic sleeve so no matter how many d2d you had you would only have been paid for 1.
so i belive that it is a smart move in keeping all the current money and having d2d in to workload as it is protecting full time jobs and keeping money we would lost in the long run

Its even worse in effect they have removed payment for D2Ds in their entirety, then got them absorbed into the normal workload.

Then they were kind enough to give us a £20.60 supplement if you work in deliveries (pro rata) with the 2007 pay protection included

This is how the CWU see it we have got a pay rise of £8 per week and D2Ds into workload - But in reality we were doing D2Ds in work load anyway and the deal means a £20 pay drop. but 1 Hour off the working week.

true blue you are not correct no one should be prepping door to door in work time at the moment thats why you currently get paid d2d payment ,in the new agreement it will then be included in workload and officially add time to your indoor work

If you are on a 25 hour contract you are not supposed to prep the round anyway, so if crap is now included in the mail this also should be pre-prepped as well as the proper mail. (by a full timer or the turd in charge)

so in theory, this does protect full time jobs, as they will have less work on the ips, but more prepping to do?

if you are a 25 hour part timer yes it should already be prepped for you but if you have a clever rep your walk should be shorter as you will have a higher call rate

The difference between now and the future is that D2D will be included in peagsus, planning and traffic when it wasn't before.

well done for putting up an amendment that i believe was not carried and a copy of an unagreed royal mail procedure on preparing for deliveries .
i do agree that it will fill a gap in prep time when the sequencing machines come in
