The only they have chance of getting a yes vote is if the pensions goes back to what they were 10 years ago, ie final salary and the government agrees it.
A no vote mean rm win. No union in the workplace, yes vote means we accept a rubbish agreement. So Royal Fail win win.

Instead of of being critical of the union all the time what do you want them to do just come to no agreement and then we go on strike again which i will not vote for,it's all about compromising and there will probably a lot most people won't like but if we stike again that we be the complete death of us and i have been on every official and unofficial strike for the last thirty two years.

what we expect the union to do is try and get a reasonable deal for us after 3 months in talks not the deal as has been talked about on here.

If we vote No it would go back for renegotiation and they would have to come up with a better offer, my guessing is this, that RM is making an opening offer and see if we will swallow it, if not they probably have a better one lined up, they will obviously will try the cheaper and easier option first.

Thats what the negotiators are there for to make sure that the cheapest an easiest options are moved on , not for it to come to us and then try and move it on , what have they been doing for 4 months , would like to have seen RM's original proposal.

The problem with this position is that if you accept such an unpopular agreement it will lead to the death of the union anyway.
This union has been bleeding members both through VR and discontentment since 2003.
This deal in my opinion will push many over the edge and who will replace them.
Those same part-timers they have just shafted,I don't think so.
So voting yes may actually gaurantee the death of the union more surely than voting no.
