No Payment of Local Bonus for New Recruits

Just finished reading the agreement, and like most on here think it's a shocking deal, but one thing that has not been mentioned(I think) and sorry to add to the woes, is on page 24 second part of the agreement, it says "Payment of old legacy bonus schemes will not be made to new employees after April 2010" so if I've read it right, it means that in an office were staff receive the PBS or other local bonus schemes, a new recruit will not receive it, even after working there for six months, so we have a job were new recruits don't get sick pay, no bonus and because they are going to be part time, get stitched up on there door 2 door payments, as a stanch union man I'm just sitting here shaking my head

Whats a Local Bonus? Never seen one where I work and I've done 13 years!

And these new part time recruits will be so skint they won't be able to afford the union anyway

It is easy to forget that although we feel pretty much stiched up by this deal the real losers will be the ones who follow us in the door.
My contract might not be much but compared to the new entrants it looks like it was written by God's own lawyer.
