Anyone else find it vague?

This deal seems very vague to me. I normally try to embrace change but parts of the document seem very unclear to me.

There is no mention of a cap on delivery spans. If you work in an office with little indoor workload you could get 6 hour + delivery spans? Who knows?

D2D. No mention of automating the product more. Will there be allocated time everyday to prep the D2D?

Lapsing? If lapsing still takes place, what about D2D on the rounds. Will lapsing be dropped to allow for D2D prep on our own duties?

Saturdays? How late are saturdays going to be?


The only things that are clear are the pay and reward packages, surprise surprise.

I'm not necessarily saying it is a really bad deal, I just can't tell from the wording. Being so open to interpretation will lead to future B & H issues and industrial strife.

I think you have nailed the problem there and thats why we are all dissapointed, and ofcourse the shame that is the door to door and early morning allowance being 20.60, shocking.

vague does not even begin to cover this document.it rambles on for 90 odd pages without actually addressing the MANY problems affecting royal mail at this time and goes no way near the problems that caused the strikes last year.
as a so called "professional driver" there is no way i would vote for this sell out if my life depended on it.
i concur with the many people on this site who warn against leaving the union as we are stronger when we are united and we can always bask in the knowledge that this bunch of to**ers who are pushing this load of crap in our faces NEED OUR VOTE IN THE FUTURE TO KEEP THEIR CUSHY JOBS, so stay in for no other reason than the pleasure you will derive from seeing them GO.
