Not sure that you could CUT OFF, now that the wise union has included D2D into workload, the DOM would just say that the time for delivering D2D's has already been included in the duty time... so you must be SLOW...so NO to claiming extended delivery.

I agree with you only someone who will not work over the festive season could/would only have agreed to this for this is nothing more nor less than Ebenezer Scrooge moment it is a kick in the guts for all who WORK for royalmail!.

my duty is touch and go now set at 87% call rate so without a reduction in size my 5hrs wont be enough so i will cut off.

Follow the CWU bag weight matrix and if you can't complete in time, cut off....you cannot ( and must not ) be compelled to work over your time - if you do, it is your choice alone, if that means 1000s of d2ds don't get delivered, then as long as you have done your duty, it is not your problem.

How long will it take to prep 20% of 6 items?

It takes me 20 mins (sometimes longer depending on how fiddly they are) to prep 3 at present on a 700 drop walk and I do it as soon as i get in.

I estimate it will take 50 mins plus (due to arm ache) to prep 6 lots.

Can RM afford to add this amount of time to the prep of a delviery? I doubt it...

I foresee more bullying and more harrasment from managers hellbent on grabbing their increased bonuses paid for by our impending wage cut/increased workload.

Time for VR i think, dont you?
