D2D ON SATURDAYS

Imagine this

Nice sunny saturday,you have to work till at least 3pm ,a New Saturday special D2D comes in,All has to be prepped into your frame and delivered to 100% call rate
for nothing.You now have substantialy more houses on your round than previous.

You cant do anything with the Family by the time you finnish and get home you will be to knackered to do anything,if you have a sesaon ticket you will not make their on time

Welcome to the world of RM and CWU.

The people who negotiated this agreement where will they be on a Saturday ,not working like you.
doe this new agreement that is so vague mean you cannot cut off ?
so you could well be working Saturday Eve.

Does the customer want leaflets pushed through there door on a saturday?? i think not.....Bad enough pushing mailsort and all the tnt crap (that used to be mailsort) through peoples doors on a saturday!

I think once people get passed the shoddy pay deal part of the agreement they will realise just how many "dealbreakers" there are in it.
This is a definite NO from me.
100% D2D on a saturday i don't think so.

The only bonus to a 100% D2D on a Saturday is that logically RM will have to make all the walks 100% call rate on Peagsus.

The only bonus to a 100% D2D on a Saturday is that logically RM will have to make all the walks 100% call rate on Peagsus.
Yes if the D2D is absorbed into workload... and the call rate is 100%. The local agreement will have to nail this one down very quickly. Is so open to abuse of local management, pressure to absorb without claiming, and pressure to keep your mouth shut if you attempt to point out the unfairness of not being paid for the work you do.

Where are the winners in these offerings?

Now combine all that with the facts that
A) Advertisers will pay through the nose to get their crap delivered at the most effective time slot
B) Uncapped , you could end up with 20
C)longs and shorts
D)flexing
Any guesses what your real Saturday finish time might look like ?

It would mean the managers would have to work these different hours..............no early finish on a Saturday for them, as more people would be cut-off leaving............................. guess who to complete the deliveries :dance
