No self-respecting Rep is going to present this Agreement, in its current form, to CWU members with any real expectation of it being greeted as the 'deal of the century' ... I know I certainly won't be

Looking at the Agremeent in its entirety, once again there are mentions of Working Groups, frameworks, aspirations, trials etc. So much being open to interpretation and left to local units to find their own solutions to what are national issues. You would have thought that both RM and CWU would have learnt the lessons of the Pay & Mod Agmnt 2007 .. obviously not! The Pay & Mod Agmnt lives on .. with additional bolt-ons and bullet points too boot.

If the National Briefing manages to convince senior Reps and Officers that this is the best deal, I suggest they make a DVD of the presentations by the various speakers, and sell it on e-bay as the sales pitch on this Agreement is going to be something special to witness!
