What should be in the agreement

Post by MinisterofCucumber »

The Government should take over the pension liability.

There should be a commitment to abide by the European Convention on Human Rights.

Staff number reductions should be achieved by offering the most generous EVR terms possible.

Independent, scientific psychometric testing should be used to assess candidates for promotion to combat cronyism.

Existing managers should be tested for ignorance and those found unacceptably ignorant should be retired.

No major operational changes should be negotiated until a new Chief Executive is appointed and reveals his/her strategy.

Managers who break existing policies should be suspended and investigated by the Fraud Squad, if the case is serious enough.

Any other ideas?

Attendance procedure should be scrapped. D2D should be made voluntary (in which case i wouldn't touch any of it). The Royal Mail should be returned to full public ownership and Downstream Access abandoned as a failed experiment. Managers should have first hand experience of delivery. Crozier should be sued for all the money he fraudulently took from the public purse. Oh well, I can dream can't I? (sigh)

I'd like to see a complete dismissal of all the executives in the agreement. With no severence pay for those money grabbin tosspots. Thier wages should then be distributed equally amongst the workforce to make up for a lack of a payrise last year. After all, we have earned the money... the excutives have not! :speak to the hand
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

Roy can you define full public ownership?

Every single share is still owned by the government at this moment in time.

That's not quite accurate, what you should have said is 'I got yet ANOTHER Stage 3'
