It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

So I take it this means that we will no longer get paid per item just the £20.60 per week..,how long before they have us delivering 5 maybe 6 different d2d every week for bloody £20...my walk has almost 700 calls so I get £35 per wk for 3 now!!

£29 a week for 42 weeks of the year (40 if you take 2 weeks sick on average) = £1218.
£20.60 for 52 weeks a year irrespective of sick or leave - £1017.20
We loose £200 a year in first year and with an average 2% a rise every year would mean 4 to 5 years to get to the stage we are at now.
Drawbacks - not getting as much as we get now and will take ages to reach parity
Plus - linked to rises - payment when not working -
So not a deal breaker for me but still disappointing.
