Royal Mail Delivery Office Short Street Southend

Today, at least one hundred hours of customer's time was wasted in a queue to collect their parcels and letters from the Delivery Office on Short Street, Southend, between 12.30 and 14.00. I captured on video a few of the comments of the public as they waited for an under-staffed office to operate a massively inefficient process of delivering customers their parcels. Stories included parcels not being available, returned to the wrong delivery office, cards being put through letter boxes without an attempt to deliver. This is video 1 of 3. THIS IS NOT AN INTERESTING VIDEO TO WATCH. It is uploaded to allow the customers who were there to have a reference point to include in their own complaint letters.

Unususal for a Callers Office to stay open after 12.30 on a Saturday. RM don't give a stuff about customers collecting stuff, they won't put more hours into the Room of Doom, the staff take all the grief and the managers are nowhere to be seen. At least they've got 2 counters open.

You should try City Link you have to give them 48 hrs notice and for me its a 12 mile drive
