I know it has not much comparison with our dispute but i noticed the RMT dispute in Glasgow underground,they didnt like what was happening and planned strike action,management then had a meeting with RMT,RMT didnt like the outcome of the meeting and are now carrying on with planned strike action.good luck to them.Im up for striking behind a clear agenda and no calling it off till its over!

Youd need to sign up half the workforce before it was recognised, so in practice no.

You could become a dual card holder and join the IWW, although from a few members we have on here the criteria is very strict (but righteous) and they expect more dedication from you than the CWU ever will.

The union is not the problem only the leadership full of would be NEW LABOUR POLITICIANS!. Our union is strong our leadership is not this is why we all find ourselves in this mess for those who doubt my words need only look at the current secretary of state for the home office for he was the guy who sold us all out as general secretary of our union in 1995!.

It's not so strict Teebs. We have Marxists, Anarchists, various sorts of socialists, syndicalists and your particular faith or religion is your own business. Then, if you can't put your differences with the different types of Marxists aside, (And when it comes to bosses and fascists, give me a Marxist every time) there is always Solidarity Federation who are affilliated to the International Workers Association, which includes the very militant CNT. The IWW and the IWA are good friends as Starbucks found out when they said they wouldn't have a unionised workforce.
Being a dual-carder is a good piece of advice. The CWU needs a rank and file who are up for a fight. Let's be clear, the leadership obviously aren't. No CWU card, no voting out the Labourites at the top.

At the end of the day it's RM who pay the wages. And why is it always RM's fault. The only people that know what is going on are the people doing the negotiation's, so it's case of suck it and see.

At the end of the day it's RM who pay the wages. And why is it always RM's fault. The only people that know what is going on are the people doing the negotiation's, so it's case of suck it and see.
