Remember seeing on here a while ago about them being counted as only holding 150 letters so counted a box ,at random and found the number to be VERY close to 300. But I suppose as most if it was DSA the box was actually counted as being empty by our illustrious leaders.

The number you quote was supposed to be the average container fill for manual mail wasn't it?
I thought the point was that the 300 items in the mech tray had been machine counted.
(Don't shoot the messenger, I'm not saying 150 is right, just that it isn't used as a container fill for machined mail)
