if you are given a stage 1 or 2 how long does the dom have to give you the warning is there a time limit or must they back date it to the day you returned back to work

stage 2 was given 3 weeks after return back to work so put grievence in and said if they had given the stage on the date of return to work 13 months ago no way would they be even on a stage interview

remember you carnt appeal against a stage 1 or 2 but YOU CAN PUT A GRIEVENCE IN

They have six weeks to issue it. if not then they have to back date your stage warning to the date of the absence.

but if the have 6 weeks why does it go to the date of issue not the day of return from ,ive not found anything that stats 6 weeks

Your first question....i don't know. I've not seen the 6 weeks stated anywhere either a rep told me about it and i did get my stage back dated because it had taken longer than 6 weeks to issue.

6 weeks is bollox,it states 'within a resonable time frame',i'll say it again,if they take the piss demand and get it back dated,a good rep should get this done.

if and when i attend a stage warning i ask for the warning (if issued hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaha) to be dated from the date of the last absence

i know royal mail are sometimes slow on this but im afraid thats just the way it is, if they take longer than a month for my stage warning i will insist its back dated, anything under a month and i accept it.
