Whats happening is they are on another jolly at £400 a night hotel room and all you can drink. Then, cleverly they are waitning until everyone is sick of asking "whats happening" then they will sneekeily accept evrything, genius!

If the final day was Monday and today the Div reps were called to a meeting at TUC headquarters for a briefing and a talk from Mark Higson RM's representitive during the talks,i guess Tues & Weds any deal should of been endorsed or thrown out by the PEC,at the close of play today it would be nice if something solid was posted to inform us.......The Membership........

Er .......we don't know........and we haven't known for some time.
But on the bright side - it hasn't stopped us posting.
Just think how busy RMC will be when we have got an agreement to talk (bitch) about.

The final day wasn't Monday, they met Tuesday as well......

They just keep us dangling on a string because even though we're all P*** off with the situation, they think that there is nowhere else for us to go.....

Well next year I am going to be £150 better of when I stop my subs, what about you ?

Saw Higson a couple of weeks ago with what looked like is secretary, somehow his mind did not look like it was on his job, well I definately would she was very tasty

Yea,i can understand how you feel,but i'll keep my faith with the union and they can have my £3.01 per week.I somehow put my trust in Dingo's postings,he has had a lot of grief on here,but fails to melt into the background and he insists the deal is not as bad as the rumours say,anyway we should all wait for the deal to be released in black and white,this could quash the rumours or back'em up.

This sounds more plausible,although it's classed as a 'presentation',would each Rep look to agree a budget for this coming
year,on an area wide basis,or do you have to 'do a deal' locally based on an unrealistic target your managers set?

do blame the union blame maggie thatcher for destroying all trade unions, the cwu is still 1 of the strongest unions, go and work for another industry and see how shi t their unions are especially in the private industry.

There was no agreement to be briefed on. Royal Mail presented to the PEC , Regional secs and Divisional their entire bussiness plan for the next 5 years including the predicted revenue and traffic etc.

The PEC were due to meet tuesday and wednesday next week to debate any agreement. As talks broke down yesterday then obvioulsy there is no agreement.

I do believe there will be further talks but there are two significant issues which still need to be resolved.

So who knows whether the PEC will have a deal to consider next week. Only time will tell !!
