GOING TO MONTHLY PAY?
ROMURS SWEEPING AROUND OUR OFFICE ABOUT SWITCHING 2 MONTHLY PAY IS THERE ANY TRUTH IN THIS AND IF SO DO WE GET A ONE OFF PAYMENT FOR THIS? 1000 POUNDS HAS BEEN MENTIONED?

This must be a very local thing. Nothing in the agreement about monthly pay at all. Probably a rumour.

According to our source,monthly pay is not in the mix at the moment.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

this one comes round every year, do not think there is any truth in it, can you imagine if you are lucky enough to get any overtime and they loose the docket waiting 2 months for your owed overtime I don't think it is workable?

It was mentioned as a possibility in the Pay & Mod agreement (2007) but hopefully it has died a death.

Daz royal mail had wanted monthly pay ever since we went to cashless pay over 20 years ago! The savings which used to attract royal mail to monthly pay simply are no longer worth the hassle! Before anyone quotes the drivers deal and monthly pay that was basically just putting everything into the pot in order to get the increase !
In terms of the new agreement the union is almost there ! I expect something to be put to the pec next Tuesday and weds!
